2003

2004		We planted on Saturday 10th July and Sunday 11th July. Jerry Smith was our catchment Care Officer at the time. We planned on planting at a reserve on Farnsworth Drive as part of this years planting. Disaster struck on the day before planting- vandals burnt most of the seedlings. We pushed ahead with the planting but the results weren't good. We used a Kanga with the oversized dedicated tree auger. This auger was too big and we didn't use it again.

2009		We planted on Thursday 30th July. The 'Bioteam' from the City of Onkaparinga Council undertook most of the planting assisted by Jess Mitchell from the AMLRNRMB. The rain held off long enough for us to have the planting finised by 1330 hrs. The planting included 500 sedges and a few trays of uncommon and rare plants and grasses. There were 4 local Xanthorrhoea amongst these plants. This was a very successful planting day. We tried using biomat fro the first time. This is like weed mat. The success of the Biomat will be monitored.
